Built like an Old Fashioned but finished with a brown sugar cube that melts as you sip, this drink delivers a layered sweetness balanced by bright citrus oils from a fresh tangerine peel. It’s smooth, warming, and just rustic enough to feel like home.
Glassware
8–10 oz rocks glass
2 oz BSS Tree Tap Maple Shine
1/2 Tbsp raw honey
1/8 oz vanilla syrup
1 brown sugar cube
2 small ice cubes or 1 large ice ball
Tangerine peel (for expressing + garnish)
Ingredients
2 oz BSS Tree Tap Maple Shine
1/2 Tbsp raw honey
1/8 oz vanilla syrup
1 brown sugar cube

Tangerine peel (for expressing + garnish)
Instructions
Add ice to a rocks glass.
Pour in BSS Tree Tap Maple Shine.
Add raw honey and vanilla syrup.
Drop in the brown sugar cube and gently muddle without fully dissolving.
Stir briefly for 10–15 seconds to combine while keeping some texture.
Express a tangerine peel over the glass, rub along the rim, and drop it in.
